CRANE CAMERA is a highly adaptable system that can be installed in any type of crane giving the crane operator a birds-eye view of the work site. With high definition, zoom and direction controls and a full color compact monitor located in the operator's cabin, images can be easily and efficiently manipulated. The Sensitive camera is housed within a stainless steel drum to protect it  from the elements. MONITOR

Manufactured by SHARP, the flat panel 12 inch monitor displays high resolution images on a non-glare screen. It features multiple inputs with a video loop and built-in speakers. Ergonomically designed it will fit into any cramped operator's cabin. Designed specifically for industrial use, the monitor comes with full two year guarantee. 
                                                            

CONTROLLER

Mounted below the monitor, the control unit is designed with the busy operator in mind. The user-friendly controls allow vertical and lateral panning (x-y axis), auto or manual focus and iris adjustment and zooming. The buttons are large and so can be operated while wearing bulky work gloves. Most importantly the            Crane Camera Controller is easy to learn and use

CRANE CAMERA & HOUSING:

CAMERA
Hanging at the end of the crane's boom, this high precision, industrial grade camera is custom made using only the highest quality Japanese optical lenses. Designed to be the electronic eye of the crane operator, it provides a bird's eye view of the work site. Using the controller the operator can zoom in and out up to 10 times or move along the x-y axis within plus or minus 15 meter range (approx. 45 feet).  A special motor powers the camera's movements along the x-y axis using the 'stepping motor system' which assures a smooth panning style. The Crane Camera has a large, powerful lens and is designed to withstand even the most harsh of operating enviroments.

HOUSING

High intensity stainless steel housing protects the Crane Camera from moisture and dust. Defrosting glass and a fan in the housing prevent dew condensation. Clarity of view is guaranteed under any weather conditions. Regardless of the angle of the boom, the housing is anchored and always keeps the camera vertical.  A break-lock, operated remotely from the controller stabilizes the image against any wind or engine vibration. The flexible neck on the housing will lock automatically when the power is off so that it is protected when the crane is not in operation in case of high wind conditions.

COAXIAL CABLE:

Coaxial cable connecting the monitor and the controller with the crane camera is designed for trouble free operation and is light weight. It is well insulated against the elements as well as interference from electronic noise. You can order cable from Techno Fine or it can easily be found in electrical supply stores and it can easily be repaired in case of damage. The system comes with 300 feet of cable as a standard hardware configuration.
